General Information

Valley Homestead has become one of Australia's leading Outdoor Educaton Centres, renown for exciting activities, led by trained instructors. Team Building and Personal Challenge are the twin themes we promote. However, schools also visit Valley Homestead for many other reasons including that of fellowship and social interaction, and for senior level study camps, and junior to middle school off site historical studies. We are so fortunate being at the hub of a region which provides easy access to Mt Buffalo, Mt Hotham, Falls Creek, Bright, Beechworth and Glenrowan.

Activities off site include:

• Bush Walking
• Skiing, borth down hill and cross country
• Snow Survival
• Abseiling, off site as well as our own on site tower
• Historical studies encompassing the gold rushes, the brush rangers, pre European/ Aborigonal field trips.
• Farm studies reflecting an enormous diversity of agriculture pursuits
